Make a Mess! Make art!

Each painter receives one 12" x 16" blank canvas (upgraded sizes available) and the group has 10+ paint colors to use. We also provide all protective gear such as goggles, disposable full body ponchos, shower caps, and booties for the Splatter room. We use washable non-toxic paint so don't worry if some gets on you accidentally (or purposefully!).


You can pre-plan for transporting a wet canvas (your masterpiece takes about 24 hours to dry) or we can hold paintings for up to one week upon request. 

The Splatter Room music is provide via Alexa. Just tell Alexa what you want to listen to and let the party begin!


**The Splatter Room unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible and you will need to be able to walk up stairs.

  • Upgraded Canvas Size (standard size is 12"x16")

    • 16" x 20" = + $4 per upgraded canvas

    • 16" x 20" Black canvas = + $5 per canvas

    • 18" x 24" = + $10 per upgraded canvas​​


  • ​Glow in the Dark UV Paint & Disco Lights Party = + $15 per reservation

    • Includes 5 additional cups of UV glow in the dark paint and disco light show.​​

My husband and I did this with our 5 1/2 year old son to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary on 5-15-2021. We had such a blast! The people working that day were super awesome and helpful. As previously mentioned keep in mind you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs that are steep and you will get warm under the rain poncho, goggles and shoe/pant coverings but it's still worth it and I'm so glad we made the reservation. FIVE STARS for The Splatter Room!

Is the Splatter Room wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately no. Painters must walk up stairs to get to the splatter room. 

What is a Splatter Room?

Fun art! You fling paint on a blank canvas (or each other) and make your own masterpiece!

Is it messy?

It doesn't have to be. How messy it is, is up to your group!

Are reservations price per person?

Yes. Please account and pay for all painters when making a reservation.

Can I upgrade my canvases when I arrive?

Yes! However, we strongly recommend completing add-ons at time of booking. Please note, the paint gun party cannot be added at time of arrival and must be booked in advance. 


Can I add-on extra canvases?

No. The number of canvases has to match the number of paid painters per reservation.  

Are reservations private?

Yes. You will only paint with members of your group.

Can we listen to music while in the Spatter room?

Absolutely! Just tell Alexa what you want to listen to and let the party begin!

Can I upgrade to a larger canvas size?

Absolutely! All reservations include a standard 12"x16" canvas, however we do offer size upgrades to 16"x20" (+$4) and 18"x24" (+$10). 

Can the Splatter Room hold the canvas if we're not prepared to transport a wet canvas?

Yes. We can hold canvases for up to 48 hours.

Is there an age restriction?

No, the Splatter room is fun for all ages! Please note, all painters must be accounted for in the booking. Canvases and protective gear will not be given to non-paying guest (toddlers 6 and under can receive free protective gear).

Where are you located near? 

1112 Race Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202

Conveniently located in the entertainment district Over-The-Rhine (OTR) in downtown Cincinnati. We are one block south of Washington Park and directly across the street from SCPA. We are also two blocks south of the Washington Park Streetcar exit. 

Do you have designated parking?

No, however there is metered street parking in front of the building and we are one block south from the Washington Park garage. 

What is you cancellation policy?

Any changes made (cancellation/reduce guest quantity) to the reservation 24 hours or more in advance are eligible to receive a full refund. Changes made with less than 24 hours notice are eligible to receive a credit to reschedule the booking. Rescheduling same day for a later time-slot is not allowed. No-shows with no advance notice will forfeit the full amount paid.
